APPLICATION:
Dry powder material for use in immobilizing petroleum-based liquids on land, including fuels solvents, paints, etc. The product is suitable to bond or congeal a spill to slow or stop the spread of the liquid.
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION RATE:
The product is ideally suited for spill clean-ups, transforming liquids and fluids to a removable solid, with minimal volumetric increase. The amount of product to be used depends on the desired results (i.e., from congealing to solidification). The application rate may vary with the viscosity of the liquid being picked up. To fully solidify the liquid normally requires one (1) pound of A650 to ten (10) pounds of spilled liquid. Test a small sample for predictable rate of usage. Pick up ratio and speed of solidification will vary with type of liquid being bonded, amount of volatiles remaining, temperatures and the viscosity of the liquid.

Varies with the flammability of the liquid being bonded.TESTING REFERENCE:
The product has been field tested and demonstrated on various flammable and hazardous liquid chemicals. Information is available upon request.
PACKAGING:
The product may be packaged in assorted sizes and containers depending on the desire or need of the user. Standard packaging is 40 pound drums.
METHOD OF DISPOSAL:
Extreme caution must be exercised when handling, storing and disposing of solidified or gelled hazardous materials. COMPLIANCE: Solidified or gelled materials must be disposed of in accordance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. The user is solely responsible for compliance with disposal laws and regulations; the manufacturer or seller assumes no responsibility for the proper or improper disposal or solidified or gelled materials.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:
The product is non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-corrosive. A650 should be used to control leaks and spills on either water or dry surfaces.
Leaks and spills on land and structural surfaces: Spread evenly on the surface of a spill, and allow solidification process to occur, remove as conditions permit. Containerized wastes can also be solidified. Mechanical mixing is required to achieve best results.
